Staff

Our treatment and rehabilitation staff is comprised of physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, exercise physiologists and athletic trainers.

  • Newtown office

    • John Calle, PT, CSCS, owner

      Co-owner and Co-founder of Comprehensive Sports Care Specialists, Inc. since 1990. John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University, graduating with magna cum laude honors, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He brings 30 years of experience to the clinic, holds a Direct Access License and has attended numerous continuous education courses. John has published articles in P.T. Forum, Sports Medicine Update, and Bucks County Courier Times.  He specializes in orthopaedic and sports related injuries and rehabilitation, with a keen interest in athletes of any age.

    • Heather Hughes, PTA

      Heather graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at MCP Hahnemann University in 2000. She has over 15 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. In 2010, Heather was a recipient of the American Physial Therapy Association's Award for Advanced Proficiency for the Physical Therapist Assitant. She joined the Newtown office of Comprehensive Sports in 2012.

    • Andrew Kajmo, PTA

      Andrew is a Physical Therapist Assistant that holds two degrees. He earned his Bachelors of Exercise and Sports Science from Ursinus College in 2012, and his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Harcum College in 2019. Andrew has been a member of the Newtown office since 2014 as an aide and now as a licensed PTA. He enjoys working with all Orthopedic patients.

    • Heather Hughes, PTA

  • Bensalem office

    • BOB FILER, PT, CSCS, owner

      Co-owner and Co-founder of Comprehensive Sports Care Specialists, Inc. since 1990. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Drexel University and a Master of Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He also played college baseball at Drexel University. Bob brings over 30 years of experience to the clinic and holds a Direct Access License, in addition to attending numerous continuing education courses. He has had articles published in physical therapy journals. He specializes in orthopaedics and sports related injuries and rehabilitation.

    • MATT ORR, BS

      Matt received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Penn State University in 1997. As a former athlete, Matt enjoys working with athletes of any age in returning to their sports. Matt has been a member of the Bensalem team since 1997.

    • PAMELA HIBBS, PT, MPT

      Pam is a graduate of University of Sciences in Philadelphia in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. Pam has played collegiate softball for 4 years and enjoys working with athletes and patients of any age. Pam joined the Bensalem team full-time in 2006.

  • Warminster office

    • ED HUNTER, PT, ATC

      As Director of the Warminster location, Ed brings over 30 years experience as a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and a Certificate in Athletic Training. He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society. Specializing in all areas of orthopaedic rehabilitation and sports medicine, he has extensive experience in treatment of the shoulder, knee and foot/ankle complex. He is also adept in the evaluation of the long distance runner. In the past, he has worked with many college athletes and has served as an Athletic Trainer for several local high schools. Ed holds a Direct Access license and has attended numerous continuing education courses.

    • Tim Filer, DPT

      Tim Graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Sociology from Lebanon Valley College in 2014. In 2019, received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Neumann University. Tim played college basketball for one year and baseball for four years. He enjoys working with patients of all ages, and is interested in orthopedic sports related injuries. Tim has worked as a physical therapy aide in Bensalem since 2009, and now has joined the staff as a full time Physical Therapist. Tim is an avid Phillies, Eagles and Sixers fan. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf.
